Linguine Pasta-1 small packet
Water- to cook the linguine pasta
Cashew nuts-7-8 soaked in warm water
Fresh basil leaves-1/2 bunch
Olive oil-2 table spoon
Pitted black olives-5-7 ( optional)
1.Cook the linguine in boiling water adding salt and a few drops of oil as per packet instructions.Drain the water and spread it on a bread tray to cool.
2.Heat oil in a wok, fry garlic cloves, onion until brown.
3.Blend together tomatoes, basil leaves and cashews to form a smooth paste.
4.Pour the ground paste into the fried onions and add the cooked linguine and fry until the paste coats the pasta all over.
5.Throw in a few sliced olives and mix it all and serve hot.
