After much thought, I decided to name this little treats as “cinnamon sugar puff pastry bites”.I made this as a evening snack for my niece and a friend’s son and it was all over even before I knew it.One of the easiest snack for kids that can be made in just 15 minutes and tastes just yum.
Puff pastry sheets-1 sheet
Water-1-2 table spoom
Cinnamon powder-1 table spoon
1.Thaw the puff pastry sheet and once thawed,unfold in a lightly flavoured surface and cut into sqaures.I did not really bother about the size of the sqaure, all that mattered to me was cut them into uniform sqaures.
2.Brush each sqaure with egg wash ( egg and water mixed) and arrange them on a baking tray
3.Preheat oven to 400 degrees F and bake them for 15 minutes or until the pastry starts becoming golden brown.
4.Take a ziplock bag and mix cinnamon powder and sugar and shake them well.Take a second to inhale the aroma- it is just so good.
5.Once the pastires are baked, take them out and drop them in to the ziplock bag right when they are hot and shake them so that the cinnamon sugar mixture coats the pastries.
6.Arrange the pastries on a serving platter and drizzle honey on top of them. Serve warm.
Ring out the old, ring in the new,
Ring, happy bells, across the snow:
The year is going, let him go;
Ring out the false, ring in the true.
I have the opportunity
Once more to right some wrongs,
To pray for peace, to plant a tree,
And sing more joyful songs!
Wishing you all very H A P P Y N E W Y E A R !!!
